Encounter Student Ministries (ESM)

If you are from 7th - 12th grade or have children who are, this is the place to be.

ESM meets every Sunday night from 6-8 pm. We are all about Jesus and in the process of pursuing Him we have a whole lot of fun. 

Besides our Sunday youth service, there are other opportunities to connect....

ESM Vision Statement:

To become Christ centered youth, who completely find our identity in Christ, devoting ourselves to loving one another, honoring our Lord, and reaching the lost, all while making a positive impact for Christ in our schools! 


ESM Mission Statement:

Love God, love people, make disciples that make disciples, and reach the lost in our lives and people from all cultures with Christ's love.


ESM strive to develop relationships with those not connected with Christ all while forming a life long connection with our Lord Jesus Christ.

ESM Girls! Join Pastor Tauri and girls from around the KC area for a One Night Conference just for you!  Girls grades 6-12  will gather at Blues Spring First Assembly for an evening of food, fun, and dreaming!

Sedalia Section Youth Rally - May 7

ESM Students we are headed to Jefferson City First Assembly for a Section wide Youth Rally.  Special Guest Speaker: Austin Westlake (District Youth Director) will join us.  


Following the Youth Rally there will be an afterparty with games and pizza.  


Make plans to join us!  Bus leaves Sedalia @ 5:30pm.

SOMO Summer Youth Camp - June 14-18


Summer Camps is one of our favorite events of the year!  We would love you to join us this Summer as we head to Cross Pointe Camp and Retreat Center.  It will be a week you will never forget!


Youth Camp is for students 6-12 grade!
