Home. There’s nowhere quite like it. It’s a safe place, a place of belonging, the place we feel secure. And if we’re honest, at our core we all long for home. Our longing might be sprinkled with nostalgia or laced with pain, but regardless, we all feel the ache of homesickness in our hearts. God is a homemaker. He created the earth for us to live in and He’s preparing a place for us to spend eternity with Him. Jesus came, died, and rose again so we could become part of His family—a family with the inheritance of eternity.
